Website tracking

We are aware of recent reports in the media concerning a number of NHS Trust websites utilising covert tracking software (Meta Pixel) that resulted in patient data being compromised. Browsing data was collected from a number of NHS Trust websites and shared with Facebook, the data collected could then be matched to a user’s IP address, enabling it to be linked to an individual.
